Our boat tour cruises the lakes east, west and south shores most scenic sites, including the majestic 250’ top to bottom Hector Waterfalls, multi million dollar estates, 100 -300 ft. shale cliffs, state parks, rolling hillside vineyards, various wildlife, Seneca Pier and Watkins Glen lakefront views ,that can only be experienced by boat.

Your tour continues on land, from our lake dock it’s a short walk to our exclusive natural shale patio that meets Hector Waterfalls edge.

Enjoy a complimentary Finger Lakes beverage and cheeses while viewing the beauty of the majestic 165 ft. lower Hector Falls from our patio or explore the waterfall just steps away. Bring your water shoes and get up close walking the flat shale at the base of the falls as the refreshing waters roll over your feet. As you look up watch the tumbling waters drop, there is nothing more exhilarating! Don’t want to get in the water; stay on the patio or sit on the side of the falls while admiring its pure beauty and energy. There is nothing more relaxing than watching and listening to the falling water; daydreaming, you might ask: “Is this heaven”?

Falling Waters Boat comfortably accommodates up to 6 passengers. She is a 195 Stingray bow rider inboard /outboard getting you up close to the water while cruising quietly, making for ease of conversation.

Safety is our highest priority. Our captain is a licensed captain meeting all USCG criteria and has navigated on Seneca Lake for over 10 years. Keeping you safe, sharing the history of Seneca Lake and sites while having fun is the chartered course! Falling Waters Boat exceeds and supplies all USCG safety requirements. Walking in the base of the waterfall is optional and based on favorable weather conditions. Observing the waterfalls only 30 ft. from the patio is spectacular!

We had the pleasure of meeting Captain Fred and his hospitable wife. Our private chartered tour was amazing as they have their own private waterfall in their backyard. We enjoyed a nice glass of wine, and charcuterie on the terrace as we relaxed listening to the soothing sounds of the waterfall.

Our boat tour on Senaca Lake had great weather and was perfect for being on the water. We enjoyed learning the history and an old myth tale of the lake that Captain Fred delighted us with.

We will definitely be booking again for our next trip. My best friend already booked another private tour for her husband’s upcoming birthday.

This is the boat tour to take if you want to get out on Seneca Lake. Forget the big tourist boats with 100 other people. Captain Fred’s boat is perfect for up to 6 guests. We sat in the bow which was so comfortable and we could see everything. Fred is very knowledgeable about the lake and the surrounding area and is commentary as he drove us around was interesting and educational. Following the boat ride, we were invited to the patio of his home which sits right next to the waterfall. We sampled some delicious local cheese and a glass of local Chardonnay (other beverages were offered too). Afterwards, he guided us in a walk across the Falls….bring your bathing suit if you want to get right under the falls. A perfect way to spend a couple of hours and get out on the water and up close and intimate with the falls.
